Express entry
Admission
Applicants having an active Express Entry profile and a legitimate employment offer from a Yukon business can register for a provincial nomination from Yukon through the Yukon Express Entry stream. This programme is linked to the federal Express Entry immigration system, allowing successful candidates to have their immigration petitions processed more quickly.
Skilled Worker
Permits overseas skilled employees to get permanent residency in Yukon if they are sponsored by a Yukon company.
Requirement for Applicants
- NOC employment levels 0, A, or B need education and work experience.
- Valid study/work permissions are required.
- Employers in Yukon are Canadian public relations firms that provide work opportunities.
- Employers in the Yukon are required to provide free health insurance to international workers.
- Under sponsorship, the Yukon employer will cover the cost of the foreign worker’s travel (inbound and outbound) from their home country, but not the cost of their family’s trip.
Worker with a High Impact
Sponsors foreign workers who are experienced, semi-skilled, or unskilled.
Requirement for Applicants
- As a minimal education, a high school diploma would be necessary.
- Work experience of at least 6 months is required.
- Permit to study/work in the United States.
- The ability to communicate in English or French at a basic level.
- Employers with a Yukon business licence who have been in operation for at least a year.
- Employers in the Yukon are required to provide free health insurance to international workers.
- Under sponsorship, the Yukon employer will cover the cost of the foreign worker’s travel (inbound and outbound) from their home country, but not the cost of their family’s trip.
Business Nominee
Applicants with business expertise who desire to establish a new business, buy an existing Yukon firm, or become a partner in an existing Yukon business are chosen.
Requirement for Applicants
- Demonstrate your intent.
- In the assessment, I received a score of 65 points.
- IELTS score of 6 and TEF score of 4.
- 5 years of experience as an entrepreneur or in management.
- A CAD $500,000 investment is required, as well as a minimum of $300,000 CAD in liquid assets.
- Hold a NOC 0 or A level job in your company.
