BUSINESS visa
Thousands of additional nationals conduct business with Canadian enterprises because of the country’s robust economy, cheap taxes, good quality of life, and outstanding research environment. Only experienced business people who have skills and desire to contribute to Canada’s economy are selected as appropriate candidates for the business visa. Before entering Canada, all selected candidates must have a clean criminal and medical history.
Start-up VISA program
Immigrant entrepreneurs who have the potential to start creative firms, and generate jobs for Canadians are eligible for Canada’s Start-up Visa Program. To invest in such ventures, Startups require the assistance of specified organisations that have been licensed by the Canadian government. The authorised organisation provides support to a start-up by producing a Letter of Recommendation, which is required for the application for a Start-up Visa.
Startup Capital
If the funding originates from a recognized Canadian venture capital firm, the applicant must have a minimum investment of $200,000. A minimum investment of $75,000 is required if the investment originates from a recognized Canadian angel investor club. There is no need to seek funding from a company incubator. However, the entrepreneur must be a participant in a Canadian business incubation programme.
Startup Capital Ownership
Under the Start-up Visa Program, a maximum of 5 persons can apply to be the owners of a single firm. They must own at least 10% of the voting stock in the company. More than half of the voting rights must be held by the designated organisation and all applicants have combined.
Language
Communicating and working in English, French, or both will aid an entrepreneur's advancement in the Canadian business world. The Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) requires a minimum score level of 5 in English or French throughout all areas of talking, reading, listening, and writing.
Self-Employed program
In Canada, self-employed people are the ones that establish their own jobs. They can do so by participating in Canada’s cultural, artistic, or sports activities. Purchase and operation of a farm in Canada, for example, aside from age, education, language skills, and adaptability, applicants must have at least two years of business experience before applying to CIC. He or she must demonstrate that the proposed firm would assist the aforementioned sectors in Canada. He or she must generate at least one full-time position for himself in the company. Although no net assets must be presented, evidence of sufficient cash to maintain yourself and your family is essential.
